Shipping Transition FAQ

On June 2nd, 2025, we will be upgrading our shipping capabilities and will ship most orders through UPS. We will still use USPS for PO Box addresses, or when USPS is the lowest shipping price. 

Why is Philz making this change?

We are improving the customer experience through more accurate tracking, better on-time delivery, and lower cost.

How is my shipping carrier determined?

When checking out, the lowest shipping price will automatically be selected. You will not have the option to edit your carrier, but the website will clearly state which carrier your order will ship through. 

Can you deliver to a P.O. Box address?

Yes, we will continue to use USPS for PO Box addresses or other addresses that are not deliverable by UPS. 

What does this mean for my subscription?

Shipping will still be free for subscriptions of 2 or more bags, no matter which carrier is used. When your subscription occurs again it will continue to pick the cheapest option (not the one you received the last time). Your order will be processed as usual, and you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number when it ships.

Do you offer expedited shipping options?

We offer standard shipping from either UPS or USPS. We do not currently offer expedited shipping options.

How are shipping prices calculated?

Shipping prices are calculated based on your order volume (weight), location, and shipping method. At checkout, the estimated costs from UPS or USPS are calculated and displayed - there is no handling cost. 

How can I qualify for free shipping with my subscription?

Subscriptions are free if:

  • You subscribe to two (2) or more bags.
  • All bags are delivered at the same frequency. You can choose to have orders delivered every 1, 2 , 3 , 4, 6, or 8 weeks.
