Philz App FAQ


How do I download the Philz app?

Head to the app store and download either the iOS or Android version of the app. For iOS, you'll need to be on 10.3.3 or newer.

How do I order on the Philz app?

Browse through our favorite blends, select your drink of choice, customize to your personal taste, pay, then pick up your order at the store you selected. It’s that easy!

What's available for pickup?

You can order your favorite drinks, food, coffee beans, and merchandise for pick-up.

Where do I pick up my order?

Your order will be available on the bar (look for your name on the cup), or if you’re early, you can listen for a barista to call out your order.

Can I order with a gift card or discount code?

You can use our in-store Square gift cards in the Philz mobile app. You can add it to the Payment Methods screen under Account Settings in the mobile app.

Can I modify my own order?

You can not modify an already placed order.

How do I add a favorite?

After placing an order, you can mark it as a favorite by finding it on your My Philz page, and tapping the little heart in the left hand corner of the drink card.

Can I schedule an order for pick-up?

Yes. At the top of your app screen, you will see your chosen location and the earliest pick up time. Click on the time to adjust the time.

How can I check my order status?

Once you place your order, you can check the status under the Favorites section in the app. If you forget, don’t worry; we’ll send you a notification when your drink is ready.

What is the maximum number of drinks I can order at once?

You can place an order for up to 4 drinks. If you want to order more than that, you’ll have to place another order within the next available time slot once your submitted order is complete.

Can I check my order history?

Under Order History on the Account page in the Philz app, you can see your most recent orders and receipts. This also lets you reorder your favorite drinks in a snap!

Why doesn't my favorite location show up in the Store Locator?

When you open the app, it will default to the location where you last placed an order or the store closest to you. At this time, pick-up orders are not available at our San Jose or Truck locations.

Why does the app reset my location?

Location information is used by the app so you can see accurate store and menu information.

How do I reset my password?

We forget our password sometimes too, so we made it easy to reset it. On the sign-in screen in the Philz App, just tap “Forgot Password” to start the reset process. You'll then receive an email from us with the next steps. 

Why can't I update my password?

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, and 1 number.

How do I update my account information?

In the Philz app, head over to Account in the navigation bar, then scroll to My Account, where you can update all your personal information. At this time, there is no way to edit an email address associated with an account.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments made with ApplePay, Philz Square Gift Cards, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, or Discover. You can add a payment card for quick ordering.

Can I access my account?

Your login credentials to and our mobile app are the same! Payment methods and gift cards are stored on both accounts. If you want to pick up your order at your local Philz, order using the Philz app. If you would like your coffee shipped to you, order using

Who do I contact for help?

In the Philz app, under the More section at the bottom right, tap Feedback & Support to reach out to us. You can also reach us at [email protected].

How do I get a refund?

If you would like to request a refund, contact our customer support team by tapping Feedback & Support from the More section of the app. You can also reach us at [email protected].

Can I check the nutritional information?

You can find calorie information and more details when you visit the locations page on our website. Just make sure to click on your specific location for the most accurate nutritional facts for food items in your area.


What is the HCSO charge?

To us, our team is our family. That’s why we’ve embraced the San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance (HCSO) and added a 3.7% surcharge in our San Francisco stores. This surcharge is also applied to our mobile app orders to provide our team members and their families with more affordable healthcare.

Is there a loyalty program?

We don’t currently have a loyalty program, but we’re working on it! We want to be able to show our Philz fans some love.

The Mint Mojito® is our signature drink, a refreshing iced coffee delight. Ask your barista to make it 'House Way' for a perfect sweet & creamy treat.
